Terms of Service

By accessing or using Salesy ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our Service. These terms apply to all vendors and buyers using the platform.

Salesy provides a social selling platform that allows vendors to create online storefronts, list products, accept payments via Paystack, and communicate with buyers via WhatsApp. The Service is available in both free and Pro tiers, with feature limitations based on your plan.

To create a store, you must provide accurate and complete information including your name, email, WhatsApp number, and bank account details. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to use this Service.

As a vendor, you agree to:

• Sell only legal products that you have the right to sell
• Provide accurate product descriptions, images, and pricing
• Fulfill orders in a timely manner and communicate with buyers
• Not list prohibited items including counterfeit goods, illegal substances, weapons, or adult content
• Maintain valid bank account information for payment settlement
• Respond to buyer inquiries and complaints professionally

All payments are processed through Paystack. Salesy does not hold funds — payments are settled directly to the vendor's bank account via Paystack's subaccount system. Paystack's transaction fees apply to each transaction.

Free plan:

Up to 5 product listings at no cost.

Pro plan:

₦5,000 per month or ₦50,000 per year, which includes unlimited product listings and advanced features. Pro subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Upload viruses, malware, or any malicious code
• Attempt to access another user's account or data
• Scrape, copy, or redistribute content from the platform
• Use the Service to send spam or unsolicited messages
• Impersonate another person or business

The Salesy platform, including its logo, design, and software, is the property of Salesy and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of the content and products you upload. By listing products, you grant Salesy a limited license to display them on the platform for the purpose of operating the Service.

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We are not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of products listed by vendors, or for the accuracy of product descriptions. Transactions occur between buyers and vendors; Salesy facilitates but is not a party to the transaction.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Salesy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data, or business. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the preceding 12 months.

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if we believe your conduct harms the platform or other users. Upon termination, your store will be removed and your data may be deleted.

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify vendors of significant changes via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Nigeria.
